I've been working with schools and museums on art projects since 2006.
What originally began as supporting bigger arts organisations to deliver quick workshops, has developed into managing and delivering multi school art projects with over 1500 children participating at a time. Whatever the scale, medium or timeframe, it never ceases to amaze me how creative children truly are, and when given the opportunity, how vast their imagination. I've worked as a playworker, youth worker, performer, art therapist and art consultant so expect a very lively, hands on session with something for everybody. |
Arts & the EnvironmentHow can we reflect our beautiful and changing world in the art we make and learn to appreciate it more? Can we create a cross curricular art and geography project and leave a legacy piece for the whole school to enjoy?

Working SustainablyI always 'use what I've got'.
By introducing children and young people to working with recycled materials and everyday objects, we can creatively consider the consumable footprint we leave behind, (or not!) and where our resources might come from. |
Arts for WellbeingArt is a brilliant resource for learning about ourselves and each other. There is a mindful process activated in weaving, painting and drawing that gives us slow and playful time to consider our inner worlds and how we can cherish ourselves and others more.

So I'll come and set up...and pack it away! |
Mrs Beeton's Barmy Bunting combination play with history, recipes and print making. DIY Tudor Bling. Blending history with craft and recycling. Both for Headstone Manor Museum, Harrow. |
Giant 'bleached' and healthy coral reef made from recycled materials by pupils from 14 schools in 3 Rivers District. Combining art, geography, citizenship and the environment. |
Forests of the World Rangoli. Made from collaged plastic bags with pupils from Eastbury Primary, Northwood. The animals and forests represent the schools diversity and ecosystem. |
